Our Programmes

Jitambue Mwanafunzi

This program is for selected and potential school Baraza students from the surrounding schools at Kitunda ward. Students are organized to learn out of school sessions for child protection, child policy of 2009 review, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-defense and entrepreneurship skills as areas of focus for child behavior transformation in presenting and respecting their rights, dignity, accountabilities and responsibilities. Students are learning on reasoning and tackling challenges which limit their voices to be heard and amplified in the families, streets, schools, ministries, transportation vessels, playing grounds to be recognized and respected by being aware in demanding personal rights and basic needs for his or her life satisfaction.

Inuka Mwanamke

This is the program that reframes the women’s life background and trying to reshape in new normal by realizing their contributions in their family and society levels at large scale. Oriented systems of life shall shape the code of conducts which are inclusive to all for equal access in development opportunities. Socio-economic specialization reduces crises which limit women equal participation in economic generating activities. Mkaambadala, Tailoring ,Soap Production, Carpentry, Beads art Designing, Vegetable Gardening, Entrepreneurship skilling and trainings.

Inuka Mwanamke

This is the program that reframes the women’s life background and trying to reshape in new normal by realizing their contributions in their family and society levels at large scale. Kijana Smart

This is the program that aims to empower youth in the communities for self-determination and active engagement in advocacy programs, resource acquisition and opportunities to leverage their capacity for self-employment to escape from backwardness of poverty and high rates of unemployment. The youth should be highly recognized in engaging in productive activities for daily income generation and future life development in practical skills by exposing them into current context of entrepreneurship life/environment. Entrepreneurship skilling and trainings, Digital marketing, Advocacy sessions, Financial Literacy.

Mkono Wa Ubunifu

Hand of Creation” (Mkono wa Ubunifu) is a program focused on empowering young girls and youth through practical skills including tailoring, carpentry, beading design, and knitting. Timiza Malengo Organization (TMO) aims to provide alternative solutions for self-reliance and self-employment by addressing the root causes of youth unemployment, particularly those arising from gaps in the formal education system.
This program directly targets to address challenges such as high unemployment rates, financial dependency and societal discrimination. By equipping youth with creative and marketable skills, “Mkono wa Ubunifu” fosters financial independence, breaks down discriminatory barriers and promotes economic empowerment.

Mkono Wa Ubunifu

Seminars and Workshop

At Timiza Malengo Organization, we believe that transformation begins within. This is to inspire and empower different children, youth and entire community to rethink their lives, embrace positive change and unlock their full potential. Through a series of seminars and workshops, we connect the power of mind transformation with the wisdom of our history, helping the community not only understand their potential but also draw strength from the journeys with informative sessions. Timiza Malengo Organization plants the seeds of transformation, one mind at a time and makes a meaningful difference in their lives and the community around them.

Nguvu Ya Michana

This is the one year project but with possibilities to be renewed yearly for about 3-5 years ahead. It began October 2022 through conducting mapping and power analysis from Buyuni ward as learning grant funded by CHILDREN’S RIGHTS AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION FUND (CRVPF). Earlier October 2023 Timiza Malengo organization under the approach of cluster partnership comprises FAHARI TUAMKE MAENDELEO and BINTI MAKINI FOUNDATION signed one year project contract for working with out of school adolescent girls in Buyuni,Ilala-Dar Es Salaam towards preventing violence and sexual violence through implementing different programs and activities by engaging community in building girls power and resilience. Still funded and supported by CHILDREN’S RIGHTS AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION FUND (CRVPF)
