From Our Humble Beginnings

Timiza Malengo Organization began with a dream to empower young people especially girls to unlock their full potential through life skills education and skills development.

Our journey has not been an easy one but we have learned that growth is possible even when starting with very little but with higher passion.

We initially started with a small shop frame and then moved to a tiny office. There were times when we couldn't afford rent but we kept going even working from home. We always believed that it was possible to make an impact even in the smallest spaces.

Our New Chapter for bright futures

As we continued to grow, we faced difficulties with paying rent and other expenses which at times meant we could not pay on time and make other accomplishments. But through our determination and belief in our mission, we managed to keep going.

We worked sometime from home at meager spaces like front house corridor and continued doing what we could to make a difference. The desire to succeed has helped us a lot and we truly believe that others can do it too just like we did.

Over time, we managed to move to a bigger office, despite the challenges. This growth wasn’t easy, but the drive to achieve our goals pushed us forward.

The lessons we’ve learned from the challenges have made us stronger. Today, we have more space and resources, allowing us to better serve our community and reach more people.

We still have a long way to go

Today, Timiza Malengo Organization is at least stronger and more capable than ever. We have expanded not just in terms of office space, but in the services we offer.

Our ability to pay rent, grow our team and continue serving the community is a direct result of the collective effort of our staff, members and supporters.

Through the journey, we continued to face the challenge of paying rent and managing resources. We were able to overcome this challenge by making self-donation from any payment from external engagement and receiving support from our partners especially individual supports.

Our staff also made significant contributions and this teamwork allowed us to continue without interruption with minimal freedom in fulfilling our duties.

We have learned that challenges build resilience and drive progress. The journey may have been tough, but it’s through these challenges that we’ve grown. We now have a bigger office, more programs, and the ability to reach even more young people.
